Conversation With the Artist

Our ‘Conversation with the Artist’ programme is delivered in partnership with Wisbech Gallery. These events offer an opportunity for creatives, and members of the public, to attend open discussions with professional artists, to learn more about their practice and view their artworks. During the evening events, creatives also get time to network with other practitioners, discuss ideas for future works and collaborate on new projects.

Join us on Thursday 23rd October, for our Conversation with the Artist. This month, we will be joined by PhD student, Emily Richardson, who will be exploring her research into gothic literature and woodcut illustrations. A Scare for Every Season: ‘The Calendar of Horrors’ & 1830s Gothic Visual Culture. A majority of Peter’s work contains provoking and nostalgic items which were previously discarded. He quotes: “My aim is to gather unrelated objects and materials and then organise, balance, and harmonise the uncertainty and disorder I see in front of me. I seek to touch and transform the observer – to infect and inspire them with my creative vision”.
