Operations Director – Jenny Ward
Jenny has spent many years working with public and third sector organisations in a number of different management roles. She now brings her wealth of project management skills to the Arts and mainly works behind the scenes to help develop the many projects that the Blackfield Creative team delivers. Jenny is committed to making the Arts more accessible to everyone, especially those who may struggle with their mental health. Her personal creative skills are nurtured through her love of photography.


Creative Director – Tim Mann
Tim has spent 40 years working as a Visual Artist and has previously managed a number of galleries, art studios and cultural centres. His artwork is in both public and private collections all over the world.
As well as creating his own artwork, he works as a Director of Blackfield Creatives developing relationships between new audiences and artists to encourage and support their access to a range of cultural activities. Tim sits on Fenland Culture Partnership Board leading the cultural strategy for Fenland District Council. Tim is committed to delivering a high standard of engagement for all of those that he works with, which is professional, authentic and original. He believes that creativity is vital in all walks of life and he is determined to encourage others to embrace it too.
Wisbech Gallery Manager – Ruby Bellamy
Ruby is a multimedia artist, who’s work uses tactile mediums. Like textiles and pastels, to explore ideas around labour, belonging, and conversations with herself. Her creative practice has developed over a few years, including her time studying at Norwich University of the Arts, where she graduated with a First Class Bachelor of Fine Art.
Ruby is passionate about exhibition curation, and accessibility to the arts; she aims to use her experience as an emerging artist from Wisbech to provide welcoming and creative experiences in Wisbech Gallery. She is keen to open up conversations in the Gallery which make the arts and culture more accessible for all, as she believes everyone should be able to enjoy and take part in an artful life.


Volunteer Coordinator – Ed Palmer
Ed (Edwin) is an emerging artist primarily involved in creating oil and mixed media paintings incorporating dark surrealist and symbolist viewpoints. Recurring themes in his work include reflections on mortality, mental health, horror and imagery arising directly from the subconscious. Ed’s background includes holding Executive Director roles in large scale businesses. He aims to use his professional skillsets and expertise to assist with the development and promotion of Blackfield Creatives and Wisbech Gallery.
Blackfield Creatives Young Artist Network Coordinator – Lily Rolfe
Lily is a portrait artist who works primarily with oil paint and collage, with a focus on representing emotion in moments of stress or anxiety. Collage is used within her work to physically represent how events and emotions can layer up to result in an emotional outcome. When possible, she also includes fabrics, clothing, and images that are relevant to the sitter to make the portrait more personal. Having just finished her A levels, Lily is now exploring a career as an artist.
