We are excited to launch the Wisbech Gallery OPEN 2026 Exhibition, our annual show celebrating creativity and artistic talent across East Anglia and beyond.
This highly anticipated exhibition showcases a diverse range of contemporary art, offering visitors an exciting opportunity to explore original works across multiple disciplines. We welcome submissions using a wide range of artforms including painting, photography, sculpture, textiles, ceramics, and mixed media, encouraging both emerging and established artists to take part.
This Open Exhibition aims to promote artistic excellence while providing valuable exposure for participating artists, and opportunities for engagement, within a professional gallery setting.
Exhibition Entry Details
As we are a non-profit organisation and do not receive any core funding, we need to cover our costs for maintaining the Gallery and delivering our Exhibition programme, so there will be an entry fee of £7 per artwork submitted (up to a maximum of 3 per artist).
This year there will be a cash award of £500 for the winning artwork, £100 for the Runner Up artwork and £100 for the Young Artist Artwork, which will be open to those aged 18-25. All of the winners will be selected by an independent Judging Panel, which will include last year’s OPEN 2025 winner EVES and other arts professionals and industry representatives, to be announced.
How to Enter the Wisbech Open Exhibition 2026
Before submitting, all artists must read and agree to the Terms and Conditions of Entry, including all key dates and submission requirements. Entries can only be accepted via the official online submission form. We are unable to accept submissions via email or any other methods.

Meet The Judging Panel
EVES
Eves is a contemporary artist whose expressive mixed-media practice explores people, place, and social commentary through bold, engaging works. Having exhibited alongside Banksy, Eves has gained recognition for creating distinctive pieces that combine technical skill with originality and emotional depth. His work has been showcased in a range of exhibitions in London and across the UK and continues to evolve through experimentation and innovation.
SANDRA FERREIRA
Sandra Ferreira has worked in homelessness and social housing for over 15 years and is currently CEO of The Ferry Project, an award-winning homelessness charity in Wisbech. A passionate advocate for moving beyond traditional systems, she champions creative, person-centred approaches that engage and empower people facing disadvantage.
Her love of the arts stems from growing up in a creative household; her father is a poet and she developed an early fascination with literature, history and culture, particularly Latin American writers such as Roberto Bolaño. As the proud mum of a future artist, she continues to actively support artists, cultural initiatives and heritage organisations across the region.
Sandra is particularly drawn to artists such as Basquiat, Picasso and Frida whose work feels alive, emotionally fearless and boundary breaking and who use art to explore the complexities of the human experience.
AIMI ROWE
Aimi initially studied fashion design before completing her degree in Humanities and History of Art with The Open University as a mature student, having decided to change career in her 30’s. Working in the heritage and culture sector for the last 10 years, she is currently Display Programmer at Peterborough Museum & Art Gallery. Aimi is passionate about making space for people in museums, to see themselves, to create and develop Art and to connect with collections.
TIM MANN
Tim has spent over 40 years working as a visual artist and has previously managed a number of galleries, art studios and cultural centres. His artwork is held in both public and private collections around the world, reflecting a long and successful career dedicated to creative practice and artistic excellence.
Alongside creating his own work, Tim is a Director of Blackfield Creatives, where he develops relationships between artists and new audiences, encouraging and supporting participation in a wide range of cultural activities. He is committed to delivering engagement that is professional, authentic and original, creating meaningful opportunities for people to connect with creativity. Tim believes that creativity is vital in all walks of life and is passionate about inspiring others to embrace its value and potential.
Tim is also the Curator of Wisbech Gallery, where he leads on the installation and presentation of a diverse programme of exhibitions featuring a range of artforms. Drawing on his extensive experience in the arts sector, he works closely with artists to ensure their work is displayed to its best effect, creating engaging and accessible exhibitions that showcase artistic talent, foster audience connections and enhance the overall visitor experience. Through his curatorial practice, Tim continues to champion artists and support the development of a vibrant and inclusive cultural landscape.
